Adam Rodwell


Adam’s Background

Adam is a Graduate of Bond University where he was awarded his Bachelor of Laws, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property and Entertainment in 2014. Adam’s Law degree combined those aspects that are truly unique to Gold Coast Commerce and Industry.  Acutely aware modern technology is revolutionising the way we conduct business, Adam combined his interest in technology with his passion in entertainment with law.  This uniquely positions Adam for his role in our Commercial Division. There Adam applies his skills in guiding clients through commercial transactions, advising on the technical and practical aspects of brokering business and family transactions. Applying those same skills sets assisting senior solicitors in our Family Law and Inheritance Law Divisions. In 2015 Adam undertook a Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Training and in 2016 Adam was selected by Robbins Watson to undertake his traineeship, commencing in 2017.

Adam’s skills are founded on his student years crafting his special interest in commerce and entertainment. Awarded full colours in Performing Arts at Somerset College, Adam has spent many years performing in Choirs, Musicals, and Stage Productions. During his university degree Adam turned his theatrical, musical and commercial talents to charitable causes, including working for International Children’s charity, Radio Lollipop.   There Adam coordinated productions of road performances; fund raising events and business development.  Under Adam’s tenure he was successful in near doubling charitable donations for the Gold Coast branch.

Appreciating the value of structure, self-development and technical art, Adam enjoys practicing in the ancient discipline of martial arts having achieved a brown belt in Karate; red belt in Tae Kwon do; and is currently undertaking Kung Fu.   Adam’s weakness is drinking coffee – habitually.
